Intertwined Through Art

Wow, oh wow, oh wow! I can’t even truly express how exciting & humbling it was for me to receive my first solo museum show. The organizers for my exhibition were SAMA’s fine arts curator, Dr. Graziella Marchicelli, along with the executive director of Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art, Dr. Micheal Tomor.
During my opening reception one of the visitors attending asked for my autograph. A little taken aback by her compliment, I smiled, and then happily signed the item she set before me. For the life of me, I can’t recall if I signed her program or a sheet of paper or even the newspaper announcing my show. I only know that on that particular day, specifically that moment, it marked a difference in the way I understood what JFK meant when he described, “…art [as] the great unifying & humanizing experience.”
